Post Cap Lights from Trex fit directly onto Trex 4X4 Composite Post Sleeves. Their warm white glow points downward for easier wayfinding and beautiful ambience. And like most Trex products, Trex Post Cap Lights are manufactured in the USA. They beautifully match with the rest of Trex Deck Lighting, as well as our high-performance line of composite decking and railing, and can be quickly installed with the Trex LightHub connection system.

Every box contains one 4×4 Post Cap with LED light and a 5 feet 6 inch male LightHub lead. When installing, you’ll need a 4×4 Trex composite railing post sleeve and, depending on the size of your deck, extra wire extensions—all sold separately. For additional lighting controls, you can also purchase a dimmer or transformer with timer.

The 30W Trex Transformer is designed specifically for outdoor use, withstanding years of tough weather including rain, wind and hail.

The Female-to-Female adapter is a simple device that allows you to link Male/Male LightHub extension wires (sold separately) together to create custom lengths or make the most of leftovers. For maximum flexibility these are recommended for a first time installer.

CONTROL YOUR LIGHTS LIKE NEVER BEFORE

The Trex Motion Controller is a powerful addition to any lighting project. It puts you in control of how and when your lights come on, and has unique features not offered by other controllers.

This 45mm diameter controller can be used to replace the timer and dimmer, and it adds the functionality of a motion controller. Using the supplied remote, the installer can program several aspects of the lighting system to get a perfect setup.

The photocell sensor is the key element for control, once it senses darkness it will activate the lights for the exact amount of time you need them on. Have to put the sensor somewhere that doesn’t receive full sunlight? No problem, the photocell sensitivity is adjustable to compensate for less-than-ideal conditions. You can also have your lights come on when the controller senses motion. The sensitivity of this sensor is also adjustable, in the event unwanted motion is causing the lights to activate.

Lastly, this little device can also dim the lighting circuit to make it one of the most complete low-profile controllers available in outdoor deck lighting. So get rid of that bulky timer on the top side of your deck and take control of your lighting system!

TREX^® THROUGH AND THROUGH

The Trex Motion Controller works will all LightHub-equipped Trex lighting installations and can be retrofitted into existing installations. It is covered by a 1-year warranty.

Note: Like other LightHub products, the leads of this unit can be cut & stripped and it can be hard wired into systems that are not utilizing the plug and play features of the program. Use of a Trex Transformer is required.
